Just a few of the finished products. =)
All homemade:
Chocolate cupcakes with peppermint frosting
White cupcakes with buttercream frosting
Snickerdoodles
Did a little baking this weekend! Found some good recipes on Pinterest so I gave them a shot!
First, cookies & cream cookies.
These turned out very soft and chewy plus the added Oreos gave the cookies a nice addition of flavor. The recipe made quite a few cookies also!
I’ve come to realize that adding a package of unprepared pudding to any cookie recipe keeps the cookies soft and fresh. It’s a great secret ingredient!

Next I made caramel apple cupcakes with chocolate acorns. The acorns consist of a Hershey’s kiss with a piece of softened caramel attached to the end.
This recipe is super easy and delicious! The cupcakes are very dense and chewy. The frosting is just the right touch of sweetness to balance the cupcake. The acorn on top adds to the Fall theme.

Thank you each for the recipes as they both turned it delicious! Cannot wait to share at work tomorrow.
